We specialise in the development, manufacturing and marketing of products for treatment of neurovascular diseases. Our products are used by interventional neuroradiologists for prevention and treatment of stroke

Acandis® offers the following products for the treatment of intracranial aneurysms :

ACCLINO® flex Stent

Highly flexible self-expanding Nitinol stent with asymmetric cell design for the treatment of intracranial aneurysms

The ACCLINO® flex Stent is the third generation of closed-cell stents from Acandis®, it offers a broad range of sizes for the treatment of various anatomies allowing vessels from 1.5 mm to 6.0 mm diameter to be treated.

The sizes with 3.5 and 4.5 mm diameter are deliverable through microcatheters with 0.0165" – 0.017" ID – the 6.5 mm diameter devices are deliverable through microcatheters with 0.021" ID. This allows sequential stent and coil placement without changing the microcatheter.

 ACCLINO® flex plus Stent

Highly flexible self-expanding Nitinol stent for the treatment of intracranial aneurysms

The new ACCLINO® flex plus Stent provides an increased range and is suitable for vessel diameters from 1.5 to 6.0 mm. For an easy handling all sizes from 3.0 – 5.5 mm are deliverable through microcatheters with 0.0165” - 0.017” ID. This allows a sequential stent and coil placement without the changing of the microcatheter. The 6.5 mm diameter devices are deliverable through microcatheters with 0.021’’ ID.

ACCERO® Stent

Highly visible, braided self-expanding stent with BlueXide® surface technology.

The self-expanding braided stent is characterised by an excellent opening behaviour, superior wall apposition and a very smooth surface. It is intended for use with embolization materials in the treatment of intracranial aneurysms.
The stent has an excellent opening behaviour and an advanced wall apposition at both ends. Our engineers designed a high radial resistive force to ensure reliable coil retention.

DERIVO® and DERIVO® mini Embolisation Device

Advanced flow diversion with unique visibility concept

The flow diversion technique with the use of embolisation devices placed in the parent artery is a new approach to treat intracranial aneurysms – especially fusiform and wide neck aneurysms.

These devices have a high vessel wall coverage and the ability to change haemodynamic forces and vectors in the segment bearing the aneurysm.
The entire contour and shape of the DERIVO® and DERIVO® mini Embolisation Device are perfectly visible due to Platinum-Nitinol composite wires. Three addiational Platinum-Iridium X-ray markers on both ends allow accurate placement and permanent control.

Why Choose the NeuroPro System?

With each component carfeully engineered for flawless performance and efficient use in the OR, the NeuroPro System makes flap closure a pleasure instead of a chore. Designed specifically for neurosurgical applications, the NeuroPro System addresses all your rigid fixation requirements, including cranioplasty and skull base applications, in a single compact modular tray. This coupled with the documented performance of titanium plate and screw fixation for long-term flap stability, enables you to provide the best fixation option for your patients.

The unique three level autoclave tray contains everything needed for all neurosurgical rigid fixation procedures. A complete selection of titanium plates, panels and screws is carefully organized and labeled for maximum efficiency and ease of use in the OR. All necessary drill bits and instruments are also organized in the tray.

An asymmetric burr hole cover design allows flexibility in positioning of the plate such that screws can be placed away from the edge of craniotomy cuts. At least two screws can always be placed in the flap — even with closely spaced cuts.

Patented burr hole cover design with central port provides for passage of ICP monitors or other catheters. With the catheter routed through the burr hole cover it is less likely to contact sharp bone edges and may be easier to remove. The port edges are rounded to reduce the potential for damage to the catheter.Patented burr hole cover design with central port provides for passage of ICP monitors or other catheters. Peace of Mind For Surgeon and Patient

For over 15 years the NeuroPro system has served as a benchmark for smart design, quality engineering and excellent value in cranial plating systems. The new Low Profile system builds on that tradition of excellence by offering the flawless performance and O.R. efficiency you expect, plus a sleek new design.
Plate profile in the new system (0.3mm) is significantly reduced from the original NeuroPro system.
Now you can look forward to a quick and efficient closure and be confident that your patient will be less likely
to experience untoward tactile reminders of the hardware, thus providing them with the peace of mind they deserve.

Rounded Plate Edges
All plates have beveled edges to further reduce the possibility of soft tissue irritation or plate palpability under the scalp.
